USDT-to-RMB Settlement Routes

Choose the appropriate RMB route according to the recipient, amount, and payment purpose.

Settlement routes

Three reviewed ways to deliver RMB.

Availability, requirements, timing, and the final rate are confirmed for each request.

ROUTE 01

USDT to Alipay

For eligible suppliers, sourcing providers, contractors, and approved recipients.

  • Typical timing: 30 minutes–2 hours
  • TRC20 or ERC20 reviewed
  • Recipient details required
ROUTE 02

USDT to WeChat Pay

For eligible commercial recipients using a suitable WeChat Pay account.

  • Typical timing: 30 minutes–2 hours
  • Account suitability reviewed
  • Purpose confirmed first
ROUTE 03

USDT to Chinese Bank TT

For qualifying supplier invoices and business payments requiring a bank record.

  • Typical timing: within 24 hours
  • Complete banking details
  • Supporting context may be required
Route comparison

Start with the recipient, purpose, and required payment record.

The funding asset may be USDT, but the receiving side is an RMB payment into China. Route selection should be based on the account the recipient is authorized to use, the commercial purpose, the amount, and the evidence both sides need after settlement.

ALIPAY

Mobile-wallet RMB delivery

Consider Alipay when the eligible vendor, seller, contractor, sourcing provider, or other recipient can receive the intended payment through a suitable account.

  • Confirm the registered recipient name
  • Confirm the correct identifier or QR details
  • Explain the payment purpose
  • Recheck account limits and suitability
WECHAT PAY

Recipient-led WeChat route

Consider WeChat Pay when the eligible recipient specifically uses a suitable WeChat Pay account for the requested RMB payment.

  • Confirm the recipient identity
  • Verify the expected receiving method
  • Check the amount before quoting
  • Do not substitute accounts mid-transfer
CHINESE BANK TT

Formal bank-account route

Consider Chinese bank TT for qualifying supplier, factory, manufacturer, invoice, or business payments where bank beneficiary details and a transfer record are required.

  • Beneficiary and bank name
  • Account and branch information
  • Invoice or commercial context
  • Payment-purpose consistency
Vendor and factory payments

Prepare the China-side payment before funding it.

A supplier may offer more than one receiving route, but that does not mean every account is interchangeable. Ask which account belongs to the contracting party, which name should appear on the payment record, and whether an invoice, order reference, or beneficiary note is required.

For deposits and balance payments, record what stage of the order is being settled. For sourcing, inspection, logistics, or contractor payments, identify the actual recipient and service. If a vendor unexpectedly replaces a company account with an unrelated personal account, pause and request a clear explanation before proceeding.

The supplier-payment guide explains a controlled request from invoice review through completion evidence.

Decision framework

What changes between Alipay, WeChat Pay, and Bank TT?

The best route is the one that fits the recipient and survives verification—not automatically the fastest-looking option.

Recipient account and identity

The receiving name and account must make sense for the stated payment. Mobile-wallet identifiers, QR information, beneficiary names, and bank-account details should be confirmed directly with the recipient before the quote is finalized.

Documentation and reconciliation

Chinese bank TT is usually the clearer choice when a business needs a bank transfer record tied to an invoice or company beneficiary. Wallet routes may be suitable for other eligible recipients but still require accurate identity and purpose information.

Timing and recipient readiness

Displayed timing is an expectation, not a guarantee. Network confirmation, review, recipient availability, account restrictions, banking hours, and incomplete details can affect completion. Read the settlement timing guide.

Indicative rate versus confirmed quote

The public rate board is for planning. A confirmed quote applies to the reviewed amount, route, recipient, network, and validity window. The methodology page explains what can change the final terms.

Controlled settlement

One process connects all three RMB routes.

01 / REVIEW

Share the complete request

Provide the amount, network, recipient route, receiving details, payment purpose, and deadline. Missing or inconsistent information should be resolved before a wallet is issued.

02 / CONFIRM

Approve the current quote

Check the USDT amount, wallet, network, expected RMB, recipient route, and validity window together. If a material detail changes, request a new confirmation.

03 / SETTLE

Transfer and retain evidence

Send USDT only after confirmation. Keep the written quote, wallet, network, TXID, recipient information, invoice or order context, and RMB completion record together.

A route can be delayed or declined when identity, source-of-funds, transaction-purpose, recipient, sanctions, fraud, or account-suitability concerns cannot be resolved. Review Compliance and KYC before submitting a large, unusual, or third-party request.

Confirm every detail before transfer

Send the amount, network, recipient route, and payment purpose for review.
